A day made of glass is very interesting. I like so much this video, because it projects the simplest life, improving education and job opportunities.
ResponderEliminarThe positive, addition to always keep in touch with our work, family and daily activities. Also that technology offers electronics dispositives more flexible, resilient and better quality.
However, I consider disadvantageous which can damage relationships with our extended family, to settle them only virtually. And being programmed our life, we could do more mechanical, for example, we do not working our memory and I do not writing with our hands.
With time remaining to have that kind of technology, I think that much to have that kind of technology,more in underdeveloped countries, least fisfty years.
Finally, I only have seen prototypes of flexible displays.
ResponderEliminarThe Video is attractive, it is a way to see how easy would be ours life if all these things will be created. Before I saw the video I knew about the cell phone glass because the company Polytron in the television had published.
I think that see the innovations technology of the video we have to wait about 40 years and when they arrive we have to be carefully because they can be broken and scratched but the positive is that the glass can be thin, high efficiently and versatility to make our life more easy for example: the wall-format display glass which make my life different because we don’t have to transport many materials to work; and more similar with the 3D TV display glass because is like the 3D movie.

the negative about this technological world is just that is made for people with very high economic possibilities and unfortunately is the minority.
however the implementation these artifacts would be amazing.
In the near future we will see how the humanity work with this technology.
for me the areas most important are the medical and the school. really, is very necessary these advances, would improve the quality of life of people.

ResponderEliminarI think some of the things displayed are achievable, for example, the new technology of televisions seams not remote, also the photo-voltaic panels that in present function with silicon would be highly improved by the discovery of a new material that has the photo voltaic effect but that is less rare and contaminating at the end of its lifetime. Besides this would be completely necessary in a reality based on energy usage.
All this technology could represent many perks such as making life easier but it seams to me this life style shown is idealistic because in reality not everyone would have access to such technological devices and the gap between the rich and the poor would increase. Additionally people would be absent from the real world, the phenomenon we now experience in which friends having a cup of coffee together rather check their phones instead of talking to each other would raise. Additionally we would be much more dependent of technology, making us good for nothing without it.
As a result of this issues I think this life style is far from present and we should pursuit more of a sustainable future than a opulent one.

The video is interesting, shows how these technologies would facilitate people lives both personal and work, increase the changes of being in contact with the family when you are away. As positive aspects being in contact with the family of an easier way, facilitates Exchange of ideas in the work and study increases the interest in education, since helps it make learning more attractive and entertaiment is greater, as negative aspect meybe live more awre technologies, memory decreases to have everything in the memory of a phone, ipad or any other technology these, but if I think it is interesting to have them and live with them. Over time maybe about 30 or 40 years, since the technology is advancing very fast but this country is not as developed as other country then maybe if lasts a bit more time to implement these technologies, but if we can have them.
ResponderEliminarI think the technology that video present is not far from our reality, we currently have equipment like that, for example the TV allow us access to internet and 3D vision, cell phones can make video calls, remote controls that allow us to control house lights, temperature house ... .. For this reason I think in five years we will have this technology in our lives.
ResponderEliminarOne of the biggest advantages of this technology is the ease with which our can access information, for example world news or family and friends news, just with a touch.
On the other hand, one problem of this technology is the lack of privacy because every movement we will perform is going to be digitally recorded and anyone can see what we do, how we do and where we do it. In addition this technology could be very expensive and no everyone could access it.

Well this video is a good idea of how we´re going to use all the technology that now the experts are actually testing and improving, with this our lives are going to be easier then now in the present. Maybe in 10 or 15 years the most of the people will have the chance to enjoy this type of technology; I think that in a near future it will be with less illiteracy because with all this devices that are creating it’s in a big why for the education and this help all the people.
ResponderEliminarI know about some devices with this kind of technology and it´s by the famous brand Samsung. This company is creating the flexibles tablets, smart TV and others type of gadgets with great functions. I´ve heard about the photo Voltaic panels in a few magazines and by the way some partners in a laboratory the last year made one of this but with an extract from a fruit that can do the same of this type of technology in a small project. I want already this technology but some day everybody will be able to use it I hope so.

Corning scientists invented the world’s first low loss optical fiber in 1970, and today the company offers a full suite of optical components from fiber to the home, to data centers, to optical connections between consumer devices. So maybe that’s just the beginning, they could make such things like automotive and architecture, building on the company’s long track record in environmental technologies and life sciences to develop solutions that make our air cleaner and our lives healthier, and creating entirely new glass compositions that deliver extraordinary benefits from everyday products, however some of the innovations in the video may be several years away. A striking thing about the video is mostly how we see the touch screens working, and the way the mobile devices seamlessly network with household appliances, TVs, and bendable flat screen computers. There's also a very paranoia inducing, as one person walks along, we see giant pictures of her leaping up the walls of buildings and when she walks into a store, she's shown pictures of herself in the clothes she might want to try on, a world made of glass may promise easy information access, but it also seems to be a world where everybody is always looking at themselves and each other to an alarming degree. But these kinds of videos take no consideration of the social, political and economic changes going on around us; changes so profound and fundamental that they make touch screen glass look like a 2 bit side act to the real drama of the coming decade. Anyway, this kind of technology could change the way we live in a good or bad way.
ResponderEliminarI think that technology is inevitably necessary and that every day is increasing the dependence to it. The technology boom has helped a lot to medicine, education, transport and entertainment mainly. Personally I think the technology in branches such as medicine and education is essential and should not stop growing because it is important for health and human development, with the emergence of tools to cure diseases and easy access to information student life will be much better, however I think the technology also alienates people and destroys relationships. What you see in the video I do not think this very far from our reality and if everything continues at the same pace soon more developed countries to enjoy.

The whole idea it's interesting but it's bizarre at the same time, it kind of scared me to realize how dependent on technology we just get, and i think it's a reality that all those things are gonna be around us in a near future. Definitely i can't imagine my life like that, there's some very good things on that video that i know it can help people in important areas such as medicine.

I don't go with this kind of life, i feel like they live in a plastic world with plastic people, they don't really interact with the others, they just hang out with their technology.

I don´t know what to think about these video because the humans all the time wants to have more things and this isn´t the meaning of the life. I think that the technology help us a lot in some areas like in medicine or something like that but if we don´t use it correctly for example in communication, maybe it takes us away from the other people and it isn´t good. I never imagine my life living like the people in the video because something that make us humans is that we can make a lot of things by ourselves but with these technology many things the computers or in this case the glass do for us. I´m not completely disagree with this kind of technology because it help us and we can do many things with that, now we have smart phones and touch computers and we have the internet and it help us a lot but I don´t want that people changes the daily life just for technology. I think that in a few years we have this kind of technology, like in ten years. I have never heard about this kind of technology but I think that now is the beginning of that, and people spend a lot of money in investigations about that. Another thing is that the industries make us believe that we need all of this tools; just for sell, but not all the things that they show us are better for us.
ResponderEliminarThe video was very interesting there show us how can be a near future and I talk about a near future because right now we are in the age of the touchscreens for example our phones or the smart TVs so, for that I think that the video is not wrong, this technology is going to be very useful in the medicine like we saw, is going to make better the communication and also will be make the education more interactive an fun for all of us, but I also think that everything have problems and this technology cant scape I think that this isn´t going to be cheap and nobody would can’t pay it, also I don’t like depend of the technology but the video show how the people depends in a complete way of this smart glasses and if in the actuality the technology separate the family, I’m also can say that the new would do too.
ResponderEliminarThe video I thought it was very interesting, as shown in the adaptation of the everyday life of people with technology. The video shows several positive aspects, and one of the most important is the medicine, if they invent and use this technology would help to cure people and prevent many diseases. I´m also in accordance with the use of solar panels at home, schools and universities, as well be used a clean energy and caring for the planet. However, it also presents several negative aspects, such as: not all people have access to this technology, will damage the human relations and would make the people become more sedentary. I think that what the video shows, is a not-too-distant future, perhaps in about fifteen years ago. I came to happen; because we are already seeing how the technology is becoming increasingly modern, we already have 3D TV, smartphone, Electric car and houses with a very similar system, in which with your cell phone you can control almost all aspects of it. Many of these inventions we can find on the internet, because several developed countries have already implemented this technology to make life easier for the people.

The video shows us the very near future, maybe twenty years or less so we can use that technology. These inventions are quite useful as we can see in the case of education for example; stay informed and to communicate with others more easily, the problem is that doing everything through technology it's making us slaves to it. There may come a point at which we can't do nothing simply because we don't know how; and all because we just bought something to do it for us, so that technology is good only if we know how to use it and not get addicted to it. Today, we all follow the same line and we are losing our originality. Therefore, as we can see in the video, that lifestyle is very useful and we all could live like that way, and, I think the best way to live it's balancing all without depending one hundred percent of technology.

negatives aspects:
people become more superficial.
it does not let physicall relations.
you have to be update every time.
i would not live like the video ways! becuase i wont feel better, i like y neigborhood, tradidional things, culture. but its neccesary for education.
i like my way life! i would not chance anything, but i have to chance with the tecnology i think i will take a long time to be update.
i like to use only my cellphone, computer, to do differents things.
i have not used any special avanced items of technology! they are very expensive.
This video is amazing; it shows a future in which the life of the people is so creative, with a lot of advantages and facilities. I think that the advantages are notable because we can do a lot of things with this technology in a simple and easy way. Also the bad thing that I see in this video is the people being so independent of this technology and maybe it could be very expensive and some people couldn’t use this. Also I think that this technology will appear in the year 2100, so I can’t be able to use this amazing technology, but maybe I’m wrong and it will appear in a near future, but if I be able to use this technology, my life will change in a dramatically way because all the daily things will be changed to be adapted and realized in this sophisticated form. Also I remember some of these devices because in one class I have to search about technology and I found in the web different inventions, but only I saw the things that had relation with computers. In conclusion, I hope that all this inventions be created with one purpose: to help people in their daily lives and with this obtain a future without obstacles and more successful.
ResponderEliminarThe video is very interesting, it is curious to imagine how the future. Personally, I think that's the direction that brings technology and we have to adapt in time. If I see a lot of those things in the future, maybe in about 10 or 15 years. I'm a fan of sci-fi movies and I remember movies with futuristic themes for its premiere, but today we see many of these things and others seem ridiculous to think. Some things from the video are in the market, for example, there are electric cars that interact with mobile devices, touch screens. In my opinion I would like to see more advances in medicine, ways to diagnose diseases.
ResponderEliminarWell, oh my God that´s amazing, I think the human mind sometimes can be awesome,but in contrast to this, there is the fact that sometimes seems that technology trying to create people's dependence on electronic devices. In another words for example, may be there something that we want but perhaps it is just a whim because we really don't need it.
ResponderEliminarThe technology that show us this video can be useful to many situations but not entirely necessary, particularly in house lives, with exception the wholesome entertainment , however we dont need an excessive luxury and so exaggerated as the way to life the people in the video.
I can´t imagine a world where everything is surrounded by computers and screens , possibly allow a better style of lives in the medicine case, communication industry or education but not in terms of social good or to help for nature, above all ¿what will happen with the poor people?. Consequently there will be a lot of people that they can not to access to this innovation.
I dont think that I need too much luxuries, and I guess I don´t wanna much technology inside my house. So, I really wish that one day the developing be for to improve the conservation of nature, care it or to improve ties and international peace, instead than maybe feed outside interests, excessive consumerism or causes of war, famine and violence.
I know can be different because on one hand It may not be as bad as many imagine, but in any case I would not want to be surrounded all the time by noisy screens and spam.
In conclusion think lack little to live similarly as the way the people in the video, digital technology advances quickly nowadays. So, thats the reason why I believe will happen in a matter of few years. I had heard of similar technology before, in technological news or internet but I did not think it was already happening actually in this moment.

ResponderEliminarFor me this video is like a vision of the future in our lives, beacuse you can see to the people everyday depends more and more of the technological devices to can continue with their lives normally and in some aspect thats good because these inventions make our live easier and more confortable, but some bad aspects about these technological devices are that they are expensive and not all the people can get it, also with to many technology the people leave other things that are important, for example spend time to the family, enjoy talking with the friends in a bar or walking in the park with real animals and plants, not only delusions. In the day by day the technology is basic, because you use in everytings, in your computer, in your cellphone, education, job etc. For that reason i think that in less than fifty year we will be in the situations of the video, living surrounded of technology. For me the technolgical devices are important but not to depend of them, i prefer a simple live enjoy all the little things that the life offers to me. I hope that when that day arrives, the people think also in the nature to create a good technological inventions but environmentally friendly to can have a place to enjoy all these devices.

I think my reasons about technology is posible.Mi first reason is that everyday technology around us, use the internet more often also much more advanced devices.

ResponderEliminarNice, I like it. I consider these technological inventions very positive because they are helpful in daily activities, job and education. In the future all the books are stored in very thin apparatus, the lessons are will be more interactive. However, these devices can reduce creativity and imagination in children because, all the days they are behind a technological device. Due the technological advances, maybe in 30 years we will live in this way. Dependence of such devices will be the major change in our lives, all activities will depend for this technology. Many devices are not new for example tablets, video calls, interactive whiteboards, 3D TV, tablets, very common today but the main difference in the future is the connectivity between all devices, very thin devices and perhaps knobs disappear.

ResponderEliminarI could highlight some advantages, such as, easier to do housework, faster and safer to transport us with the help of tools installed on your vehicle.
More flexibility and convenience when performing our daily work, with the use of tactile and easy to transport devices, such as phones or tablets.
Some negatives of these new technologies are generally sedentary lifestyle and a false or unreal vision about the world, especially by children.
We lose much human contact with family and friends. The rarely visited and talked little with them, on the contrary, we see videos and photos, and just send them text messages.
Also many people are concerned only by taking many pictures in social activities, instead of enjoying the moment and share with the people.
Greater difficulty in people to develop motor and artistic skills , such as writing , painting, or just have fun and exercise in nature.
I find it very sad that in the future the animals look, only by technological means, without the ability to listen to them, pet them and feed them.
I also believe that social gaps would be larger between upper class and lower-middle class.
Actually, manufacturers are constantly working to build thinner devices and a nice clean design, for example cell, flat screens and computers.
I think that in a period of fifty to one hundred years live similar or even more advanced than shown in this video technologies.
